Wow, she did good on picking out colors! It is a real pretty quilt. I am impressed that this is her first quilt. Who says quilting is on the way out. They are wrong, see this one!!! Now on to planning the next one right? She has the bug, right?

I agree...I wish my DDs were interested in quilting...maybe there's hope for my GD, but she's only 4....

I am hoping for my GD also! She is 7 but lives in Ohio, so my time with her is limited. We will lure them with yummy quilts and fabrics to play with!! LOL, Hugs and smiles

I'm with you! Right now Molly is too impatient to be interested in fabrics/sewing, and like you my time with her is limited. I do have a 10-year-old goddaughter who is just becoming interested in sewing. She lives in Montana and sent me a really sweet note with a picture she had followed the dots on with the sewing machine. She comes my it naturally, because her mom (my sister) sews and quilts, so Liz has been around it all her life. There is hope!
