Great job...she will always have that experience and will always know she can do it...theres plenty of yrs ahead for her to pick it up again. Our DD made her first quilt at 12 to go home with one of our foster babies. She has since made 3 more and always comes up with ideas for others but buys the fabric and hands it over to dear old Dad to make..I have no qualms about it though her time is limited she wil soon have her doctorate, is married , has a one year old son and has just accepted a new job as Director and administrator of a Adoption and Homestudy Association.

Thank you for the encouragement. I will keep hope that she will continue to want to make quilts, if not now then maybe in the future.

Awesome! My daughter was frustrated at first and then after awhile went back to it again. Whether they know it or not, I think it's in their blood :)

Cool....try to keep her encouraged. Maybe try smaller ones that she could finish faster. Cute idea with the pictures on the back.
