Looks like your quilt will be just what they want. It has so many possibilities for the future. When they have a child, you can embroider the name on the trunk of the tree along with the date the baby is born or you could list the baby name on one of the leaves and put the DOB on another one and the weight on a third GREAT JOB

I love your treatment of the bark on the tree and the carved initials! The whole design is very nice - the stars as a border - and nice warm colors. She will cherish this for a long time!

Great idea for the baby names. I truly hope there will be. DD wants a child more than anything, but she has had two miscarriages. She is looking to adopt, but giving her and him a year to know each other. Thanks for all the compliments.
