You did get lucky, the Goodwill in my area will not accept any machine except Singer. I was just looking at this machine a month ago. Your husband found something really good! Merry Christmas.

Wow, what a deal. I love Goodwill and Salvation Army that is my therapy I got 14 yards of fabric for $8.00 various prints all cotton at Goodwill Wednesday.

What a terrific deal, enjoy! The Goodwill closest to us has been on a price-rising kick this past year, so many used things are priced close to what you could get it for new in a store (beaten up bar stools for 80.00 each?) The last two sewing machines I saw there looked to have seen much better days but were priced so high I couldn't consider either anyway. I like to support good causes but the Goodwill here is making it challenging.
