Default Dear Jane

I have always wanted to make a Dear Jane quilt. Last month I signed up for a Dear Jane Block-of-the-Month club. Each month you receive the fabric and patterns to make 8 blocks and 2 triangles. At this pace it will take 2 years to finish the quilt. I like it because I can work on other projects at the same time. Anyway, today I tackled block A9. It has 45 pieces and is 4 1/2 inches square. It took me 2 hours, but I'm really happy with the result.

Your block is really pretty. Is there a theme color for your quilt, or will it be scrappy? I wish I had the patience to make one of the quilts. They end up so pretty. I love looking at them, so I am really glad others make the effort to do those quilts.

Thank you. I'm doing a traditional theme. The colors will very closely replicate the original quilt. It's taken me 10 years to work up the courage to start a Dear Jane.
