Just a note about my QAYG. I am using a very light weight muslin with batting when I quilt each block. I am quilting with a metallic thread, which I knew that I didn't want on the back side of a quilt. Very itchy. When I get all the blocks put together, I hope, I will add another backing to the set of blocks and just quilt down the sashing. Not sure if I will hand quilt that, most likely, or machine quilt.
