what a masterpiece! Tell us about the tree trunk. How did you achieve the lighting? It looks like a combination of fabric choices, thread coloring, and fabric painting. Please share. Lighting is the hardest technique to master, for me, in artwork. You seem to have achieved perfection. Congrats!

The tree trunk is black fabric with light grey patches or small blobs accenting one side towards the bottoms of the trunk only. The whole was over laid with white netting and then stitched with black. Thanks for the praise!
