It looks good to me and the reviews are mostly very positive. What a very pleasant DH you must have.

Congrats on the new machine! Your husband must know that a happy wife leads to a happy life...lol. I have several machines I use on a regular basis and the one that has taken the most abuse and never given me any trouble in 15-20 years is a $300 Babylock that lives in a travel bag, goes to classes and overnighters with friends, and has been my back up machine when the expensive one has been in the shop.

I've also had one for a few years. I have 3 machines, none fancy, but that one is by far my favorite. Enjoy.

How nice!!! You don't have to have money to be rich. Sounds like your DH is worth more than money can buy. Congratulations on your new machine.

I've had a Brother for years. Love it , until a friend from Canada saw I was having trouble . It started goin nuts on me , or was that me??? hhhmmmmm Anyway she sent me her old Singer featherweight and I fell in love . Now this is not the black one everyone wants , it was made in the '90's . I really don't care for computerized machines cause I can't fix'em. So price does matter to me . I 'd rather have an older machine than one I can't fix at a reasonable cost. Good luck with your new machine. Whats her name???

Looks like a wonderful machine, you also have a wonderful DH to purchase that for you. Aren't you glad that wealth has nothing to do with happiness? Stay thankful, enjoy your machine and keep loving DH. Blessings!!!

I've heard some good things about the Singer Confidence quilter sewing machine and have seen Martha Stewart use them on her show. I had a Singer for a number of years after my Sears Kenmore quilt burned out (literally-guess I was really "smoking" that day. As long as you love it, that's all that matters.

Aren't you the lucky one. A new machine and a wonderful husband too.
When a dying man asked his pastor "How long does it take to die?" his pastor's heartfelt reply was "A lifetime." Live life to the fullest, but stop now and then to enjoy the sunset.
