I asked dh if he wanted to help do something that he hasn't ever done before.. and he jumped on the offer !
this is him helping me with us both using the featherweights..

notice the red ironing table in background? he made that after I showed him the tutorial on tv tray ironing boards.. he loves it so much with his own little red iron to match...

I wish I could get my husband on board with this. He works for a small quilt company and so never says a word about my stash or sewing on the kitchen table, but I think it would be wonderful if he would start. Especially during the winter when he can't get out to do much.

Great pic. I love these vintage featherweights and you have two....how lucky is that. Lovely that you can work together, can't wait to see how that OBW turns out.

Great shot! No way my DH would deign to sew with me. On the other hand, he just remodeled my sewing room with money from yards sale of his tools.

What a great guy ... from yardsticks and thread shelves to featherweights and OBWs!

When you said something he's never done before .... sewing? or the OBW? Are the two of you having races to see how many each are doing in the same time? Have Fun!
