dh went to the wall and took pieces down to sew.. i guess it is what it is... sewing has begun !

You'll get used to the acronyms! I was used to the generic ones when I came here, and some of the quilt acronyms sent me for a loop for awhile!

To answer your question, with a few of the other more common ones ...

DH = Dear Husband (or could be Darned Hubby, if he's in the dog house that day :))
DW = Dear Wife
DD = Dear Daughter ... and so on for the rest of the family
DIL = Daughter In Law

OBW = One Block Wonder
LQS = Local Quilt Shop
LAQ = Long Arm Quilter
FQ = Fat Quarters
HST = Half Square Triangles

So if you see an acronym ... try to think, what might fit in the context and you may just have it right.
There is a list of acronyms under main topic, under the rules section.

I think that is soooo cool, that DH likes to so something you like to do too! ANd Great job to the both of you one for showing him the tute on the ironing board table and two for him making you one!!! What a TEAM!!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

It is ok to share Lori... and to see what his creations are is the best pay off ever... and besides, it is his money that replenishes my stash.. lol it is a win win situation !!
he is really taking his time and trying to make this a real piece of work.. after 39 years...i am blessed..
