I can't imagine a greater gift for your children. Bet he would be an awesome sewing partner. I agree with the additional machine suggestion. My grandchildren have grown up on all of my machines. I have a longarm, but my oldest granddaughter refuses to even try it. I am trying so hard to help her feel comfortable on that because every thing she learns increases her confidence in herself. I know she would do an awesome job. Even my grandson has used my embroidery machines. Nothing makes me happier than to see others learning to sew. Have you ever heard of the 1M pillowcase project? Bet her husband would love to contribute his talents to that group. He reminds me of a strong man with a kind heart. I can see a new sewing group being born in that household.

I am proud of your DH. Way to go for getting him to use your machine. As someone said earlier, you may need to get a 2nd machine so you can sew together. My DH will help me as long as it is not hard stuff. He's great at cutting. Get him involved. It is fun to work together. Thank You for sharing.
