He has been making quilts almost as long as I have - I had a bunch of scraps from sewing when I met him and I taught him to machine-sew. He does the tops (most of them) and I do the handquilting and designing.

He sounds like he'd be the ultimate perfectionist with the PERFECT outlet for his perfectionism.

Congrats on the good job on teaching him to sew and congrats to him for his patience and obvious perfectionism--and in this case, it is a "match made in heaven".

Oh my goodness, squares cut less than an inch each, that's amazing. I can't work with anything less that 2 1/2"! Quilts are outstanding no wonder one of them is in a museum. Wishing your DH lots of continuted quilting. May in Jersey
