I am really enjoying piecing this bargello although it does seem tedious at times. This is the first time I picked out my own fabric and I am still not sure I got it right. After spending close to 2 hours choosing the 11 fabrics the sales lady said to me, "Are you saying YES to this fabric"? LOL! It did feel as tough as choosing a wedding dress.

The pattern has you make up over 700 little strip sets as you can see stacked on my table, (each one labeled). They are divided by rows, with up to 10 pieces per row. I've shown a picture of one row. The 53 rows are sewn together in 2 identical pieces. You then put together the 2 pieces to make the quilt. Neat design that the top and bottom half's of the quilt are identical, (just turned 180 degrees).

I still have 27 rows to add. My inspector thinks all those little strip sets are fun to play in.
