I have never been a bargello fan, but my dear, this is lovely. Interesting to look at and I bet a good challenge to create. And don't we love a challenge from time to time. Lovely colors.A beautiful gift for you son and bride.

What a gorgeous quilt in my favorite colorway! I, too, haven't been attracted to bargello but this one is so interesting in its design. They will be thrilled and best wishes to the new couple.

My son remembered this pattern from a quilt I had helped assemble several years ago, and my DIL-to-be went shopping with me and chose the fabrics. I was so glad she went along because she chose from a color family I haven't worked with before and I didn't have the concept like she did. However, she chose beautifully and the finished quilt is quite pretty and looks just like Rachel, according to her mama. I was stymied a bit when I went to quilt it. I finally decided to follow the darker materials like a path and I quilted feathers wherever there was a dark spot. Some times the feathers went somewhere, sometimes they were like a medallion. In between I chose the cheater's way out and used stippling to cover the remaining ground. The border motifs were new ones for me and I especially enjoyed the larger flower motif that covered the largest border quite nicely. Thanks for looking!
Most beautiful bargello I have ever seen !!!

Very beautiful. Nice fabrics and you did a great job on it. Really like the binding and how it compliments the border fabrics
