Did I show you this?

This is the quilt top I have done for my very first grandchild - as we don't know the gender of the baby yet... should find out in July - I will just HAVE to make a boy quilt too - this one is obviously for a girl. Thanks for looking.

So sweet! I bet you can't wait for the baby to get here. There is such a special feeling about be a grandmother. I wouldn't have understood it before my first got here and wouldn't be able to explain it completely to someone who isn't there yet. It is such a special feeling. I have always heard 'mama' bear is protective over her young. I believe 'grandma' bear is more protective. I am so happy for you and I like the quilt.

It's so pretty! If you hadn't shown the close up, I wouldn't have noticed the double heart block! I love it! Looking forward to seeing your "baby boy" version!
Congrats Gramma and congrats Momma! I hope she enjoys this time...it's fleeting! Tell her she should keep a journal. It's an amazing keepsake! :)

That's very pretty! Congratulations on the grandchild! They are so much fun. We're having another grandbaby too, but no due date yet and it will be awhile before knowing the gender. I have been trying to restrain myself whenever I start thinking about making a baby quilt. I've got plenty of time to select a pattern and complete the quilt!
