I really prefer the yellow ones. The ripe ones are too realistic/photographic for my taste.

Cheers, K

I say yellow only. Won't eat bananas when they get spots (bleck!), sure don't want fabric that way!

It is so funny you mention this, at my house we do not like really ripe bananas, in fact we like a bit of green on them. So I thought the first set was ripe, but then I see the second set, and sorry to say that they look totally unappealing to me, not the colors, but just seeing spotty bananas turns me off. Nothing to do with the fabric, just my taste in bananas!

Have to confess I like the yellow ones better. While the others are more realistic, I couldn't become excited to see them in a quilted item because they look on the verge of going bad... and unless what I'm making has other realistic-looking produce in it, I couldn't pair it with much.

IMHO

They are both great. The ripe ones are often called "green tips" when you order them in a commercial kitchen. The ripe ones are definitely bear attracters when the pantry door is left open at the camp. Don't ask how I know

I like the first picture. The second picture of the overripe bananas makes me think "oh crap...I've gotta make some banana bread now with the overripe ones." :(
