I love love love this quilt! I must go find more of these quilts because I don't get what you mean about the squares being triangles. The colours are fantastic and sure to brighten her days.

Fab, what I was trying to explain and did poorly was the colored corners of each quilt comes together like 4 HST into the center with white around them. I made them the "New Block" with sashing going around them. Have been watching videos by Ellen Munnich on quilting outside the block as she calls it. If you look closely at some quilts, the blocks when put together sometimes make additional blocks. That's what happened here.
