It is precious and no doubt you could sell it on Etsy, but keep it! I kept mine so that I can compare it to those yet to come. One day when I'm an old pro I can look at it and see all the things I did wrong and see how far I've come.

I never finished my first quilt, it was so bad! I did get it pieced, but never quilted it. I keep it to show myself how far I've come. One day I plan to finish it just because.

I guess the real question is...do you WANT to keep it? If it isn't something you want to keep...then may as well sell to buy more fabric!

I have my first quilt, and it hangs proudly in my living room on a rack with my others. I show it happily and announce that it was my very first. Yes, I have kept it, although it has been asked for several times by family members. Nope...that one's mine!! :-)

I'd keep your first quilt. Make another one to put on Etsy! Your quilt is adorable.

    Darling quilt.

Yes I have mine, it is thread bare, made with flour sacks and an old blanket as batting.

No, my sister talked me out of it. But I made another just like it for myself.

I have my first one hanging in my sewing studio right above my sewing area. I made it in memory of my mother who was a seamstress. It is a wall hanging of "Antigue Spools" with my own touches of color and detail.
My second one I gave away.
