That is great. I made one in a class with a jelly roll and have thought about cutting strips myself.

Love the colors! You did a great job. Very brave to not use a jelly roll kit. I don't think I would be able to do that! I have such a hard time picturing how the finished project will look.

Actually I think this one is prettier than of one line. I have never made one of those other ones, but this is so pretty, I might make one of these.

Your quilt looks great! Thanks for posting, you've inspired me to get on mine. I just cut my own strips for a quilt very similar! I'm using bright neapolitan colors that I have been picking up over the last couple of years.

I feel so blessed with all of my quilting friends here, you all have said such lovely things about my quilt. Thanks again very much!

@ggcoach03: I couldn't picture how the finished quilt would like but I picked fabrics I thought would go together well. The binding will be red with little dots, I just decided that after two days of auditioning fabrics . Backing is a bright green.

I love it-I am currently cutting all my fat quarters into 5" squares and 2 1/2" strips. This gives me a great idea on what to do with these when I am done. Great use of fabric and I am sure the person who receives it will love it.
