I made a 45" square wallhanging for my PEO auction one year and the bidding only went to $10. I was so insulted, I sulked all evening and probably weeks afterwards, and swore I would never make another thing. It was a gorgeous 5 stars, on point with borders in fall colors. Still ticks me off.
