Cute, he sure seems to like his new pillow. I have considered making something for my girls, but there are 3 of them and they are labs, so combined weight is around 210 lbs so that would be one big cushion. I don't think it would withstand the washings I would need to do.

It's easy peasy! i think I first saw it in a book somewhere, can't remember which, :oops: but I've adapted the method as well. You just sew your strips direct onto batting and backing then join the blocks together. Eh voilą! Ready quilted! :D

I can see that he likes it!! My hubby says I should make one for the dogs. Dugan is always laying on one of the rugs. Even if it only a half inch more that the bare floor he must thinks it is cozy. Even a rug on the carpet, he will lay on that.
