That's what we use it for here too! Working for my Veterinarian Dad I was hard pressed to find another euphemism for giving them the anasethia for surgeries. Nothing good would come to their mind with "knock them out" either.

I actually refer to it as "his trick". Just something he does. Doesn't matter who is on the couch with him, they always end up asleep. He has a very loud and soothing purr. Plus, he has to lay between your legs and hold your legs down. I guess he thinks you are going to float away. lol
Before I took the Motrin, I would have welcomed someone to "put me to sleep". lol

It's high strength Ibuprofen, like Tylenol.
I would have taken a Rocicet (prescription) but I only have 2 of those left and saving those for when I am REALLY in pain.
Plus, after I wake up from one of those, I feel sort of loopy the rest of the day. And I can feel that way WITHOUT taking drugs lol

Well as long as you get relief from your discomfort, don't go any stronger than you really need or you become resistant to it in the long term.

Well its about time I went off to bed, I will hopefully 'see' you all in the morning, have a good day whats left of it folks!! :D

This is so pretty, Izy! You have all done such a beautiful job! Whoever is the recipient of this quilt, I am sure will be so proud! I love the way hand quilting and hand applique looks. I can only imagine the amount of money that you will raise with it! WAY TO GO!
