oh granny you,ve done it again another masterpiece and your colors go so well with blocks love it very much .thank you for sharing maybe one day you can give me a class on how to make them this small

there was no particular pattern but a 12 petal dresden always requires 30 degree cuts. I tried different sizes, the acutal one is a scant 3/4 inch at the bottom and about 1 1/4 inch high. sewed with 1/4 seamallowance and cut back after sewing.
Took a 1 1/4 inch strip and cutted 30 degree pieces - sorry cant explain better.

Your dresden girls are both.....to die for. I absolutely love them. The mini though is tops in my book. Fantastic hand quilting too. Kudos to you.

Are you kidding me? 3/4" - I think the momma quilt should go on the bed and the baby quilt should be a wall hanging. They are simply wonderful. You should be proud.
