Thread: donation quilt

    I am doing this quilt for a local cancer event. It is still a work in process. I will be adding the border (of purple and black) and fusible bias tape to all the triangles to make it look like a stain glass. All of the colors of the ribbon represent all the colors of cancer.

    How nice!! Your quilt is lovely. I really like all of the colors that you have used making it. It will make a wonderful donation quilt. I am so proud of you, for doing this wonderful thing.

    Great idea, the bias tape will make it absolutely stunning!! I bet it will raise heaps of dosh :D :D :D

    Thanks Bev. Most of the fabric used in the quilt was part of the donation fabric that I didn't bring over to you. These were the smaller pieces. I think the only fabric I had to buy is the black and one or two of the different shades of pink

    What a great idea! A bunch of ladies and I were just talking about making a quilt for the cancer society. I made a comment about the different colors of ribbons. I for one did not realize there were that many different meanings behind the different colors!

    Great quilt. i HOPE you post it finished with the "leading" to make it look like stained glass. As a cancer survivor, I say THANK YOU.
