I've been piecing the blocks for a Log Cabin quilt FOREVER! I finally got all the rows pieced, and today I've been working on sewing the rows together. I got almost done, when my pal Tuffy wandered in and decided it needed the Cat Inspector's Stamp of Approval. She just couldn't wait until I got it done (about another 20 minutes!) If she'd had a flag she would have shouted "I hereby declare this quilt MINE!"

That is going to be a beautiful quilt! Glad your "inspection" went well!

My niece says that her two cats can be upstairs asleep and if she starts to lay out a quilt on the floor downstairs those two are there in a cat-second! How do they know? They seem able to hear that first quilt block hit the floor!

I love your picture harmony. I swear they always have the est spot in the house to lay. Whether it is the best chair or your new quilt. "That is mine they say, it must be because it is beautiful."
I love the colors you are using for the log cabin. Very pretty.

How sweet she looks. All my cats seem to find any quilt, finished or not and try to claim it as their own. They know a good thing when they see it.

nothing is allowed to be almost as pretty as they are. they just can't stand to share the spotlight, can they? LOL.

I love the colors. Harmony - are these fabrics random from your stash or might they be from Connecting Threads? I haven't yet had a chance to purchase from their Irrisistable Indigoes collection.

    Your work is beautiful.

Rosemary, you're exactly right. Their the new Irresistible Indigos from Connecting Threads. I'll post a pic of the completed quilt top sometime tomorrow.
