    I can't imagine doing this with denim! You deserve a medal for handling that much bulk/weight under that needle. I'd say "forget it" but since it is for your bro, well...maybe I'd give in.

    The art he provided is so interesting, what a masterpiece! I've made 2 denim quilts and know what you mean about their weight - but my ex loved them so much I was happy to let him have them . . .

    Both of you have wonderful art work and creativity. Beautiful finish but I think denim quilts are quite heavy I have heard. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you by making another!

    wow , quite the artists. I just did my first qayg and loved the quilting of each star, but made a king size and had to finish putting together with my 10.00 machine, as my workhorse gave me fits. I have a grandson that wants every quilt I make, I finally had to put the foot down. haha
