It's beautiful! I think blue & white quilts are so classy & classic. I'd never seen this pattern before & I love it! Would you be so kind as to tell us where you found it? Was it here? http://quilting.about.com/od/blockof...four-patch.htm

    Great job!!!

And P. S: My DD's name is Cara, too! Great name!

    They are 8" finished blocks
Small squares cut 2 1/2", larger squares cut 4 1/2"
You can make the quilt whatever size you want.

That is beautiful. You did a really good job!

Lovely, and elegant. Sometimes the simple patterns make the most striking quilts.

Sometimes the simplest blocks make the best overall designs. I love your quilt. I can't wait to try some variations of that pattern. That is one of those, "Why didn't I think of that" ideas that should have been lingering in the brain.

Thank you for the simple but elegant example of a stash buster. I have printed the pattern and ready to go to work on constructing a double four patch of my own. A good pattern for a baby quilt or just to easily use up those beautiful odd and ends. Thanks for bringing this pattern back to us.

Agree with Shelbie: that the simpler the better and I like that simple, pretty pattern.

Very pretty! And very good for me to see - my stash has taken on a life of its own. And many shades of the same color family just like your blues. Thanks for the great idea :-)
