Default DP9 on Point

Hello! Awhile back someone showed up their DP9 on point and I fell in love with it. I was at the point of putting my blocks together too but decided to change to "on point". So this quilt came together thanks to you all showing us new ways of arranging simple blocks. This was my 1st DP9 too. Hopefully the colors will come over true. Its a beige background, blues and browns blocks with solid black as the coins. I also found a backing with a black background and lots of bicycles. My friend loves to ride off road bicycles and I found a digital "Live to Ride", Ride to Live" pattern that just fit the bill. This was also the first time I chunked my corner border sections with the border going across so a lot of firsts with this quilt.

With the leftover 5" blocks, I made a simple quilt for his kitty "Highway". Quilted kitties E2E on the body of the quilt and kitties along the border. Added an "H" to the corners for her name.

Would have gotten this done a while back but I blew out a disc in my lower back in February and have not been able to sit or stand for any length of time since. Have 9 more quilts to quilt up so you'll be seeing more from me in the near future.

Love your block arrangement and fabric choices. Ok, Another item on the bucket list- I have to make it to at least 125 and be able to piece and quilt to finish this list...

Very, very nice. I really like the d9p, but never thought about arranging the blocks on point. I really do like yours.
