Thank you all for the nice comments.
I'm thinking I'll do the piano key border, but I don't have any scraps left over. The quilt is made from 5 inch squares bought from E-bay and our own McQuilter. I wanted as many different fabrics as I could get and that seemed the best way to do it. I'm sure I'll be able to come up with more fabric to make the border.
I do like the idea of a scalloped border, but I'm not sure my nerve could take it. I've never done that before. I need to look at some instructions and see if I could handle it.

A piano key border in the scrappy fabric would be cute to finish it off!
Connecting threads. Has a great assortment of 30's themed fabric at a good price you can get charm packs fat quarter bundles or fat eighths.
