I have never made a Dresden quilt but I've been asked to do one on several occasions. I don't think you could have made one any prettier than this one. Will be looking to see how the border comes together.
Don't bother with the show, I already voted you the WINNER!!!! LOL
Should I send you a ribbon now or later?
Love you quilt!!!!!

What a wonderful compliment! I am truly looking forward to beginning my appliqué project for this quilt. Once I have finished the borders, I will layer the quilt with Hobbs wool batting. The next step is to plan my quilting strategy. My husband bought me a HandiQuilter Sweet 16 several months ago for my 60th birthday. Need to decide what what quilting techniques to incorporate on the quilt top.

I absolutely love your quilt. I audition fabrics and then go with what I like.

I love Dresden's and yours is very beautiful. The flowers are very nice and will look wonderful stitched with a blanket stitch or blind stitch.

I would lay it on the bed you plan to use it on and see what size borders you need to make it fit. A beautiful quilt!!!!
