    I love the soft colors it will make a beautiful quilt. I haven't tackled a Dresden yet but maybe some day.

    A wonderful 'save'. I would guess the previous person could not solve the difficulty of poorly marked and cut pieces and gave up. You have a beautiful solution and your finished quilt will be lovely.
