    I marked the quilt by using a template, the markings are removed by a damp cloth.

    For the drunkards Path pattern I used the quick method so as I would not have to sew any curves (I'm new to quilting that will come with practice). I cut a square of 7 inches in my first fabric then a circle in a contrast fabric around 4 1/2 inches in diameter, placed the circle in the centre of the square stitched around circle and then cut the square into four equal parts, voila.

    You alternate the fabric to make your pattern.
