What a fantastic quilt/race track! Love the quilting, carrying straps, streets, and vintage fabric with a history. I'm sure your son is gonna love it!

The pattern for the 8 inch blocks came from the Roads pattern in "The Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt Patterns." I figured out how to turn in into a nap mat on my own.

You did a beautiful job plus it can be used to play with . This will surely be a plus for your son. Congrats. BTW I'm sure we'd all enjoy seeing a pic of your son playing on it.
