What a beautiful addition to your "Grama's Hope Chest" :D :D :D
All that lovely handwork, it will be a treasured blankie for sure!!!
It is not too small, little newborns in the winter sometimes need to be double wrapped and using 2 bigger quilts are waaay too bulky, and sometimes a smaller quilt size is "jussssst right!" A baby can't have tooo many quilts, ya know :wink:
