    Thank you everyone! I am just wondering, I keep thinking it is needing some white eyelet lace set in here at the end. I am pretty sure I have some flat and some gathered eyelet lace around here somewhere. What do you think... too old fashioned?

    It must have taken a lot of time to take it all apart but it was well worth the effort. You've "rescued" the blocks to let them shine on this lovely stage. It is stunning. I don't know about adding eyelet - but if it really calls to you, I'm sure you will do it well.

    This is so outstanding love the colors to bring out the blue work. Did you do the blue work or got it that way ?
    Isn't it wonderful when y ou have the patience to redo something to make it into a special project? You did good gal.

    Even though I didn't see the "before" I'm sure that the "after" pictures were worth the doing. The embroidery really shines with the colors that you chose - now it is an heirloom piece!
