It is a folded back pillow
I modifiyed the pattern and made the points
smaller so more of the main
    fabric would show.

Very unique pillow...I love it. I have a bunch of scraps that I need to use on small projects and you just gave me a super idea....Thanks for sharing
Families are like old quilts....although they tend to unravel at times...each can be stitched back together with love.

Fabric is like money, no matter how much you have it's never enough.

Thanks for the kind words about my pillow cover. I really don't have a real pattern for it. It fits a 18"pillow but you can make them any size. This is made with 4 main pieces..two 22" x 18 1/2 folded to be 11 x18 1/2, front of fabric facing out, this is the back. The front is a piece cut 18 1/2" x 14 1/2" and another contrasting piece cut 4 1/2" x 18 1/2". I put in prairieoints...as big or small as you like and as many as you like (I like mine on the small side so more of the main fabric shows!). I sew the points to the larger top piece with a 1/8" seam, then sew the 4 1/2" piece to that. Should be 18 1/2" square now. Put that face up on your table place the two back pieces on that with the folds in the center. Sticth all around and now you have a envelope. Turn right side out push corners out and insert pillow. Hope this makes sense..easier to do than say. Carol

P.s. If you put buttons on the prarie points do it before you sew the front and back together...much easier.
