For the past several months, I've been working on something that is quite challenging, so today, I wanted to put that project aside and give myself a break from it. I wanted to find a fast project.

Voila- This pattern is called Jacob's Jazz. Just two fabrics and strip piecing. Just what I needed to do. Had the machine humming while I sewed 1.5" strips together. Not bad for a break from the other project, which is sending me to the crazy house.

that, gramajo, is a subject for another day (soon to come). think plaids on the bias, 1/2 and 1/4 square triangles, 4 hours to make each block, while trying to make every block different.
