Sheila, I have no idea how many it will take to make the quilt because the quilt is still pretty much a theoretical quilt. The daisy blocks are 18 inches. I'm thinking of putting them with some pieced blocks. Maybe some kind of a flower, but not sure what yet.

Buttercup is one I've thought of using. Four of them could go together to create an 18 inch block.

Your hand work is beautiful. Nice touch. Keep it simple and you will have a more stunning quilt.
