I got this pre-printed quilt top at a local fabric store. I have thought about putting some Etsy because they are so cute and there are so many different prints. I am doing a kitty one for the other grandaughter right now too. It is time consuming, this is my first embroider, I have cross stitched all my life so it was fairly easy for me. I do have appr. 45 hrs in this one so far!

Oh, my goodness, your quilt is so, so adorable and the fact she has named all the puppies says she love it. What a wonderful gift for your granddaughter. This little quilt is going to become a heirloom for sure...at least I hope it does. It is just wonderful.

How cute that she's already named the puppies.

Trust me not dumb! I had never heard of it either. All the puppies are white, so I colored them with crayons then heat set them to get the wax out and the color stays. The lady that owns the fabric store told me about and I was a little skeptical, but they turned out awesome. So all the color other than the embroidery is colored with crayons!
