yes, all by hand. Takes me about a week for each Gingerbread block. And the fishy ones depend on the size of the block... these ones each took a day or two...

I use Crayola crayons. White over the whole thing, and then colours.
The directions say to buy the 64 count box, but where I am the 96 count is cheaper.. LOL. And I go through ALOT of white

Those are so pretty. I love hand embroidery. Do you use any special ironing technique over the crayola?

Yes. After coloured, coverwith paper towel, and press. change papertowel and repeat. Repeat again as long as `colour` transfers onto the papertowl. I colour lightly, so usually the 2nd press is clean!

You do beautiful work! I just love Meg Hawkey's designs and patterns. I was lucky enough to get to visit her shop a few years ago and meet her.
