We moved the dining room out and made a studio! It was only used two or three times a year when we had big family gatherings. To supplement for those gatherings we bought a couple of folding tables and chairs and spread them around the house bistro style. It works really well and the conversations are more meaningful.

what a wonderful work/creating space you have there! Everything was so well thought out. I am tickled for you to have such a warm and inviting space for you to create in. I love how you have your rulers on end of your table. That is clever too. Really so well thought out!

Thank you everyone and no one give Terri my address!!! I know her and her suitcases! LOL

I said earlier about posting to give ideas - that's not because I think I'm sooo clever but I got most of my ideas from other ppl's rooms I'd seen on here, on the net and in books.

The rulers on the cutting table are just hanging on regular screws not put all the way in, I made sure they weren't so long that they'd screw the drawers shut! LOL

Oh my gosh.... you have my "almost" like that room. I want so much to add an addition to the house al for ME... Right now I do have a fairly decent room and I am grateful for that. But we always have something more in our hearts to enjoy our freedom to quilt without having to stip to try to remember where we put certain facbrics, etc. I stand and appluade you for the use of what you need to make it by keeping your eye or A, animals if you have them, small kidlets if you have them and B.. a room where you can have access to your very own place o close the door, tun up the speaker and just enjoy yourself. You deserve it.

What a great and very neat space! My room is wonderful but I have so much I am packing in here it is hard to be very creative sometimes. Too many fiber arts - So little time!

It is all beautiful, laid out so conveniently.
Can you tell us about the view out the window? That really caught my eye.
I foresee many enjoyable, creative hours spent in that wonderful studio.
