From EQ5 To Reality
Auditioning the fabric colors, cutting, and sewing all done in one day. I really got into this one. This may be the future of blocks for me. Make one block larger than normal and just call it a wall hanging. It's 29 x 29 inches. I am hoping to machine quilt it.
All batiks. Squares cut at 4 1/2 and 4 7/8 for the HST's. I'm calling it "Looking For the Highway" because, to me, it looks a bit like a cloverleaf. The quilting lines I drew out on parchment paper seem like curvy roads also. A couple of the points are not perfect, but I am extremely happy.

Looks amazing, I have been thinking about buying one of the EQ's not really sure which because it depends on the price. I used to have a quilt design program but for the life of me I don't know what happened to it?? I'm excited to see your wall hanging completed.
