    I like your 'outside-the-box' ideas. They turn into beautiful quilts. I really liked the color shading on Kayak on the Lake and look forward to seeing this one.

    I wouldn't worry about using a block "not the way it is supposed to be used"...outside the box...thats the way to go! I love this look!

    i love this block and think it's perfect. it gives you all those separate bits for gradually moving from one color to another.
