Yea!!! I finally finished the quilt for my 3rd DGD, age 6. Her favorite color is red. The back is fleece, the front is the jelly roll, fat quarters, and charm squares that I couldn't find. I had made her a purse in the summer with this collection; she had picked it out. I still have a little bit, may make a pillow to match.

When using fleece on the back do you have to pre-shrink it? yours is laying so nice and flat not wrinkly

I did wash the fleece first, but fleece doesn't shrink because it is all polyester, just fluffs up nicely. I used a walking foot to SID just around big squares. The cotton will probably shrink a little because that wasn't washed first. But it should keep it fluffy. The fleece gets stiff if you quilt it too much.

I only have pieces left and I know she won't like a bunch of seams in a pillowcase so I think I will make a pillow, the fleece on one side and the prints on the other. That is for another day.
