Thanks everyone! she was so surprised and absolutely loved it. After all of this time, she deserves some special things. while it can never replace what she lost, I know the new memories will be just as cherished.

As a certified cat lover (aka feline fanatic!!) I can guarantee she is going to love this quilt.

I love the proverb too. I have one that is similar.... "A home without a cat is just a house."

Do you mean that it fits her PURRRRfictly? Tee-Hee. I once had a cat named Purcifer. The name came from a James Mitchner novel but I thought.... what better name for a cat? I like your quilt and have used that pattern a number of times myself. You are a good friend and I am sure she is blessed by your thoughtfulness.

When I lay blocks out on the floor to start assembling the quilt, my kitties have to go to jail. They can move a block perfectly without a wrinkle anywhere. How do they do that??
Of course they get extra love when they get released...
Love your kitty prints. It must be fun collecting them!
