It looks very pretty on you. The colors, prints, and pattern are young and modern. Sometimes it's just good to switch up your projects. I always made garmets when I was younger, but now I have more fit problems, so I do quilts. Maybe when I have a grandaughter I will go back to making her some cute outfits.

I took measurements today of my 7YO GD. She was visiting and after seeing my stash, she chose the fabric pieces she wanted me to make a "top with spaghetti straps." Haven't sewed up 100% cotton clothes in many years - not since they had to be starched and ironed! Anybody know if that is still the case with cotton?

How nice! You did a great job on it. I sew some garments for myself and some for others. It is something I have done since high school. I won't say how long ago that was but, I am a grandmother.

There is an interesting site that is very good to read up on sewing like this site. It is called patternrevew.com like here it is free to join and there is tons of information to help you along with projects. There is even sewing classes that you can take on line there.

I hope you continue on since you enjoy it so much. You do such a good job.

I love it! I think that style would even look decent on me. What pattern did you use?
