That is an absolutely adorable dress! I've been meaning for some time now to make some type of clothing again. I made two of my high school formal dresses.

Lovely dress for a lovely lady. Have you considered doing any modeling? You are very photogenic.

I used to sew every thing I wore but now it is just quilts. I am going to start making my great grandbabies some clothes for summer so maybe I will enjoy it again.

Great job! I am not, repeat NOT, a garment maker (having tried several through the years) but I admire those of you who can do it, finish it and then actually have it be wearable!!!!

Not only do you have a wonderful garment that no one else has, but you saved money in the process.

That is a striking dress. I'm wondering if you purchased the fabrics for it at a quilt shop. Even as I reached
retirement I still made a lot of cotton dresses for work.
(secretarial). I bought for a dress more than once at a
quilt shop, as they had the prettiest fabrics. I thought
about making my little great greatdaughter a few sun dresses, but I'm not sure her mama irons! So guess I won't
    make them.
