    I made a Christmas gift for husband...a wall hanging of one of our rescued Australian Cattle dogs. I haven't seen any threads about thread play since I joined this community so I thought I'd throw it out there and see who has tried it and if they enjoyed it. This is my first attempt. I took a class with a wonderful teacher in our area and she was an inspiration. We used a photo on fabric as the starting point. BTW, the "frame" is not wood...it's fabric. Overall size is approx. 26" square.

    That's marvelous. Just like looking at a picture!! And the "framing" of it is just like wood.

    Good Job!!! The dog looks like a corgi. I love those little dogs. I don't have a dog but if I did that is what I would want.
