    Thank you to everyone for your input. I auditioned many other colored fabrics and found that black brings out the outline of all the gingerbread print in the starts. It also emphasizes the depth of the red print. So, I've decided to use a black binding. It is halfway stitched on, so when it's finished, I'll post a picture. Thanks again for the suggestions. :)

    Gingerbread is on the back already. :) But, I like the idea of the red contrasting the back.
    I agree with you about the red, that way your stars are the first and only things you see so do the red binding.
