I participated in an event for an organization called Wrapped Up In Sports a few weeks ago. Check out their website at www.wrappedupinsports.org. Over 50 volunteers got together at Fenway Park and make over 60 quilts to be donated to a local charity. This is the second year of this event and I KNOW it will not be my last time volunteering. I only wish I had known about it last year. I met so many wonderful people. I found this event here on Quilting Board and met the most fantastic women who just happens to live in my town. What a coincidence! I feel like I have a new friend for life. Below are some of the pictures from the event.

What a beautiful array of quilts. Love to get together with other quilters, which doesn't happen too much out here. Everybody just too far apart.
